Biography

Attorney Chelsea Nicholson is a trial lawyer practicing in Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee counties. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with her Bachelor of Science degree in political science in 2005. She obtained her law degree in 2009 from the Nashville School of Law. Chelsea interned at the Public Defenders Office in Nashville throughout law school and started her practice with Jack Butler and Associates. She opened her own office in 2010 focusing on criminal defense and personal injury cases. While in private practice she has had numerous jury trials including cases for DUI, kidnapping, robbery, rape and drug offenses and obtained many favorable verdicts for her clients.

Attorney Chelsea Nicholson has tried over 13 jury trials in her twelve years of practice including drug cases, rape offenses, DUI, kidnapping and robbery offenses. She has shown she is a trial attorney, who is willing to fight hard for her clients and fight for justice.

Within Chelsea Nicholson's civil practice, she is of counsel to the Law Office of Thomas Mink & Associates, PLLC wherein she represents clients who have sustained serious injuries within automobile accidents. She also represents residents and clients at the Dismas House, a nonprofit treatment facility in Nashville. She helps all residents at Dismas House obtain their driver's license through a grant with the Tennessee Bar Foundation. Chelsea maintains that when clients are released from incarceration, not having a driver's license can be a big hurdle and works with the residents at Dismas House, who are in treatment, to address these issues and get back on their feet.
